Fishing Clips
A fishing clip is a piece made of flexible steel wire, typically consisting of a moving arm and a fixed arm equipped with a locking system for the former.
A clip allows for the easy and quick attachment of other accessories or even a line that has a loop at the end. This is their main advantage; they are very helpful for rapid changeovers. For example, in stationary fishing, swapping out a hook length, an entire rig, a feeder basket, or other similar accessories is done much faster than if it required tying a knot or reassembling an entire rig.
Another advantage offered by clips is the freer movement of the mounted accessories. This can be particularly useful in various situations, from the free motion of waggler or stick floats to the free movement of feeder baskets, helping to prevent tangling of rigs.
Last but not least, clips provide good strength, often surpassing what can be achieved using, for example, a simple fishing line and various knots.
