The spinnerbait is a metal lure characterized by the presence of a double V-shaped shaft, with a blade on one arm and a movable jig at the other end, allowing both lures to move in parallel.

Preferred techniques often involve significant vertical movement, dynamic actions, and contact with the bottom. Due to its single hook design, the spinnerbait can be used to explore areas with vegetation or submerged structures. Although originally designed for American bass fishing, the spinnerbait has proven versatile, showing success with most species of predatory fish. There is a wide variety of designs and sizes, with some spinnerbait models featuring up to 3 blades, while the jig can be camouflaged by a more or less voluminous silicone skirt.
