Braided - leader, main line, KG Strength: 13.01 - 15kg

Choosing the main line.

The line with the highest breaking strength, suitable for the given fishing conditions, is always the best choice to spool the reels. Therefore, we need to consider several factors, including: the distance at which we want to place the rig, whether we are casting or still fishing, the spool capacity, the regulations of the water we are fishing (any restrictions regarding lines), and the profile of the fishing area (e.g., snags, abrasive substrate).

Choosing the leader line

Regardless of the type, diameter, and breaking strength of the main line, in most cases, we need a few meters of leader made from a thicker and stronger line to reduce the risk of the main line breaking during casting and fight. We don't want to lose the weight and rig during the cast, especially if the weight could reach the neighboring bank where other anglers are present. And of course, we want to see the fish in the net, not lose it, sometimes right from the bite.

The correct choice of leader helps ensure the safety of both anglers and fish.
