Bait mixers: The bait mixer is a whisk-type accessory designed for mixing bait, equipped with a threaded end that can be attached to a power drill. Initially used only by competition anglers, bait mixers have now become a valued accessory utilized by nearly all anglers. The main advantage of using a bait mixer is that preparing a larger quantity of bait is much faster since the whisk disperses water evenly and with less effort. Additionally, using a bait mixer can reduce or even eliminate the need for sifting the bait, as clumps will not form and the mix will also be well aerated. The ease with which a significant amount of bait can be prepared in a short time is a major advantage for quickly and easily mixing and preparing larger quantities of bait for fishing sessions.
Bait press: These are devices designed to help anglers create bait balls with the same shape and size for more precise baiting. The more symmetrical the bait balls are, the greater the accuracy when launching them with a catapult, slingshot, or by hand.
Devices for crushing boilies or pellets: As the name suggests, these are used for breaking down boilies or pellets into smaller pieces. Crushed or broken baits can be very effective for creating an attraction zone for several reasons. They are lighter, making them less likely to sink into soft substrate, cover a larger area for the same amount of bait, release their attraction more easily, and can appear more natural compared to a mass of whole, symmetrical baits spread across the substrate. Additionally, crushed baits have a lower chance of overfeeding fish and keep them engaged in the area for a longer time.
