YGK X-Braid Upgrade X8 is a braided line made by weaving eight PE fibers, featuring excellent knot strength and abrasion resistance. The production of this braided line incorporates three patented technologies from YGK. It includes the ultra-tight cross-weaving technology (WX type), HST treatment processing method, and GP-X silicone coating method. The line consists of four polyethylene cores with a specific density of 0.98 (g/cm3). All these factors made it possible to achieve an almost perfectly round cross-section, smoothness, and a significant strength margin.

It is also very sensitive, allowing quick hook rigging and precise bite detection. On the other hand, the line handles strong and intense resistance from powerful fish very well. The X-Braid Upgrade series in the X8 version is a versatile line, great for jigging but can be successfully used in all types of fishing. Ideal for both saltwater and freshwater fishing. X-Braid Upgrade X8 has a single light green color, making it visible even in low-light conditions.
