Shinji X9 is an upgrade from YGK Oddport WXP1. It is the strongest braided fishing line on the market. It features the most advanced material and construction. It is made by tightly braiding nine PE fibers, offering unmatched knot strength and abrasion resistance. Thanks to its unique construction, Shinji X9 has the best overall strength among all braided lines on the market. Compared to its predecessor, Oddport WXP1 lines, it has slightly lower laboratory tensile strength but delivers greater real fishing strength.

The most advanced PE filament material was used to make this line, which is 60% stronger than regular Dyneema/Spectra. The strong materials are tightly braided using very thin PE fibers, ten times thinner than typical fibers used in other braided lines. This is why Shinji X9 has a very smooth surface and almost no memory. The fine fibers are very flexible and provide greater durability than thicker fibers of the same weight.

The X9 construction also offers another benefit by eliminating line twist. The body remains truly round, preventing issues caused by flat, compressed line profiles. Lines become weak at knots, and twisting is often the cause of weakness. Flat braided lines twist during a fish fight, causing knots and breaks. The X9 construction effectively eliminates twisting and maintains the original strength. WX braiding technology ensures the line has minimal stretch and the tightest line body.
