After a ground-up design process lasting 5 years, the Trakker DB7-R bite alarms have appeared on the fishing tackle market in the carp fishing bite indication systems segment. The model includes the latest generation technologies and innovative systems alike.

For the first time in the history of alarms, the PPS system (Prevention of Accidental Start) stands out. This technology prevents accidental activations, thus preserving battery life.

The mechanical part of the alarms is designed with magnetic rollers. Thus, the main line will be under the pressure of 8 magnets that will trigger the alarm’s sound system at the slightest movement. The same magnets deliver information to what the British at Trakker call ISM (Intelligent Signalling Module). This technology involves attaching a module to the electronic part that can differentiate line movements caused by wind or water currents from a bite. It activates upon vibrations in the line and not by tension. Thus, they can be confidently used in extreme conditions such as waves or even boat fishing. The frame remains on an ABS platform, a lightweight and durable material, resistant to mechanical shocks and external environment. The housing, battery compartment, and electronic components are waterproof. Water will not affect the alarm's functionality in any way.

The SRT technology (Sync-Connect Receiver) was developed for long-distance communication, eliminating interruptions caused by obstacles. The operating frequency is dedicated to avoid interference from poles, trees, or slope differences (inclined bank). The acoustic part (audio speaker) of the alarm is conical to deliver a clear and powerful sound. The conical walls allow sound waves to amplify, resulting in a strong and unmistakable indication. Depending on the type of presentation (run or drop), the alarm will deliver clear and distinct sounds. The sound experience thus stands out and confirms that the Trakker DB7-R is focused on superior quality in this segment.

The visual indication component of the alarm uses LED technology. Therefore, a dual module (two LEDs) was chosen, extremely bright in intensity, and capable of alternating in 6 different colors: red, green, blue, yellow, purple, or white. The mounting area of the visual indication module on the front of the alarm was carefully analyzed to allow the angler to notice the bite even from the side of the fishing spot. Adjustment and customization options are generous. There is a night mode (standby light), constant light for run, or flashing light for drop.

Volume, tone, and sensitivity can be adjusted on 8 levels using the existing potentiometers. The alarm is equipped with a 2.5mm jack socket, offering a wide range of choices in hanger or swinger options. For greater electronic stability and optimized power consumption, the Trakker DB7-R uses a 9V battery. This ensures a significantly longer life during use compared to conventional batteries and, last but not least, a stronger signal during operation.
