The Marvel Distance FDR 5500 is a compact reel specially designed for feeder fishing, featuring 6 (5BB+1RB) bearings and a corrosion-resistant graphite body. The reel has a long cast aluminum spool with a special "V" shaped lip that facilitates quick line release, allowing for long-distance casting to specific spots. The two round metal line clips allow for precise line positioning, which is particularly useful when targeting a specific baiting area.

The multi-disc front drag (Drag System Oiled Felt) is equipped with both steel and felt discs impregnated with oil. The Infinite AntiReverse system (roller bearing allowing the rotor to rotate in one direction), micro-adjustable drag system, durable pick-up wire, double-strength stainless steel main shaft, graphite spare spool, CNC machined aluminum handle, and TPE knob perfectly fitting in the angler’s palm complete the list of features for this reel.
