Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Superlight Short is part of Simms’ product portfolio. Made from nylon fabric that’s lightweight, packable, breathable, and rain-resistant, it offers stretch for enhanced comfort. An elastic waistband, zipper, and fabric belt loops secure the shorts. Simms designed these shorts with four pockets—two side pockets and two back pockets, one of which has a zipper.
