The company Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time did not meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water earlier and stay out longer regardless of the weather.

The Superlight Short is part of Simms' portfolio. Made from lightweight, packable, breathable nylon with rain protection, it offers stretch for enhanced comfort. The pants feature an elastic waistband, zipper, and braided belt loops for secure fastening. Simms designed these pants with four pockets: two side pockets and two back pockets, one of which has a zipper.
