Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Challenger Shirt is a fishing shirt that combines classic design with modern functionality, crafted from lightweight polyester heather fabric that stretches and dries quickly. The shirt features a classic pointed collar, a central loop closure on the back, and a button-front closure. Chest pockets with drop-in button closures and a hidden zippered bonus pocket make carrying essentials easy. The back yoke extends over the shoulders for enhanced stretch and mobility, while a back vent offers comfort in warm weather. The body is made from 100% polyester with a 115 g/m² plain weave fabric.
