Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer, no matter the weather.

The Challenger Shirt is a fishing shirt that combines classic design with modern functionality, crafted from lightweight heather polyester fabric that stretches and dries quickly. The shirt features a classic point collar, central back hanging loop, and front button closure. Chest pockets with drop-in button closures and a hidden zippered bonus pocket make it easy to carry essentials. The back yoke extends over the shoulders for improved stretch and mobility, while a rear vent provides comfort in warm weather. The body is made from 100% polyester with a 115 g/m² plain weave fabric.
