The Shimano Tranx B is a heavy-duty baitcasting reel designed for targeting large fish, delivering high power, durability and excellent control during the fight. The aluminum HAGANE Core Solid Body provides rigidity and stability, while MicroModule gearing ensures smooth, efficient retrieves under load. The Cross Carbon Drag system delivers up to 10kg of drag, maintaining consistent pressure during the fish fight.

The Tranx B model is available in the standard 5.8:1 gear ratio for power fishing, offered in both right- and left-hand versions. The robust construction, weighing over 300g, is optimized for strength and control. The S3D aluminum spool reduces vibration and allows the use of braided lines without risk of damage, thanks to the synchronized line lay system.

For casting accuracy, the reel is equipped with the SVS MD (Monster Drive) braking system, with internal adjustment and an external dial. X-Protect technology provides protection against water and dirt, increasing durability during heavy use. The standard double handle delivers 78cm of retrieve per turn.
