Renowned for reliability and versatility, the new Shimano Stradic FM spinning reel is the latest addition to Shimano's CoreSolid spinning reel range.

Featuring technologies inherited from Shimano’s top-tier lines, the redesigned Stradic FM adds InfinityXross technology for unmatched durability and gear synergy by horizontally extending the gear tooth to help distribute load more evenly. This utilizes Shimano's cold-forged Hagane gear technology for extra strength, combined with MicroModule II refinement for an exceptional reeling experience.

The addition of InfinityDrive provides smooth rotation and increased starting power under load, while the new Duracross Drag system delivers smooth performance from the felt drag discs with up to 10 times greater durability. Shimano’s X-Protect water-repellent coating and specially designed labyrinth water channel construction ensure long life and high performance by preventing water intrusion into key areas without adding rotational resistance. The new Anti-Twist Fin—an elastic polymer on the spool's underside—improves line management for anglers using monofilament or fluorocarbon lines.
