The iconic legacy of the Stella series best embodies the mindset aimed at enhancing the angler's performance through the most innovative reel technologies. The new Stella FK model is designed with cold-forged Hagane gears, offering increased durability. The refinement of MicroModule II technology ensures an extremely smooth and sensitive rotation while minimizing noise during use. The new InfinityXross technology is based on a revolutionary design that extends the gear tooth horizontally to efficiently distribute the load over a wider area and prevent damage due to stress points, while significantly improving the overall durability of the entire assembly.

InfinityDrive is a new advanced main shaft support structure that improves torque and allows smooth and easy operation. The main shaft, previously supported by the pinion, is now supported by a new bushing that significantly reduces friction resistance. Moreover, the main shaft has undergone special surface treatment and machining, creating a reel that performs flawlessly even under heavy loads. This technology allows anglers to enjoy fast line retrieval similar to an HG reel while maintaining the power and torque of a PG reel.

With durability up to ten times greater, the new revolutionary Duracross Drag System (this system incorporates cutting-edge materials woven uniquely into the drag washers compared to conventional washers) provides smooth operation while maintaining the strength of the Cross Carbon system. Combining the new spool and rotor innovations with proven Shimano technology will significantly enhance casting and retrieval performance. The new InfinityLoop technology extends the spool oscillation to allow it to move up and down at an extremely low speed, reducing friction as the line leaves the spool during a cast.

The combination of the Anti-Twist Fin system (an elastic polymer installed on the lower part of the roller that maintains line tension to prevent slack and stops the line from falling off the spool) with a redesigned drag star and reinforced propulsion spool lip further improves retrieval performance and provides superior line management.

X-Protect System ensures high resistance against saltwater and is equipped with a Long Stroke Spool. It features a Ci4+ body, an advanced version of Shimano's original patented CI4 material. This ultra-durable carbon material maintains 2.5 times more rigidity than CI4. While improving weight and stiffness, the body remains compact in size. The S-ARB bearings have shields on both sides to reduce the chance of sand or saltwater impairing their rotation.

The most striking feature of the Propulsion Line Management System technology is the new spool design. Through extensive casting tests and computer simulations, Shimano specialists have established that this new spool design offers longer casting distances than standard design spools while preventing undesirable backlash or loops.
