The new Nasci FC reel series answers the calls of anglers demanding durability and toughness across multiple fishing applications. Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments, Nasci reels feature CoreProtect to enhance durability and water resistance without adding extra rotation resistance. Shimano’s cold-forged HAGANE Gear technology delivers unmatched gear durability compared to cast or machined reels. SilentDrive – the same technology found in Shimano’s flagship reels – tightens gear tolerances to the micron level to reduce noise and unnecessary vibrations for smoother performance.

Designed to operate with Shimano quality and attention to detail, the redesigned Nasci reel series delivers when it matters most. In addition to the top-tier technologies carried over from previous versions, the Japanese manufacturer introduced new features such as CoreProtect (water resistance and corrosion protection), Silent Drive (removes the "click" sound and makes gears quieter), G Free Body (repositions the center of gravity closer to the rod to reduce fatigue during fishing), and Waterproof Drag (a rubber seal that repels dust and water).
