Shimano Baitrunner CI4+ XTB-LC Reel

The use of CI4+ material makes the new Baitrunner XTB-LC model very lightweight yet compact, making it the ideal reel for long-distance casting when you need to increase the overall speed of the setup. The reel is equipped with Hagane gears, One-Piece Bail technology, a long cast spool that is lightweight and durable made from CI4+ alloy, an "X-SHIP" line winding system, and a baitrunner system.

The cold-forged aluminum handle and the 7 (6+1) stainless steel S A-RB bearings, X-Protect system that guarantees protection of internal parts against water and dirt ingress, plus the fast "Hi Speed Drag" brake that allows quick adjustments with just a half turn of the knob, perfectly complete the top features of the new Shimano Baitrunner reels.

The Medium Baitrunner CI4+ 5500 XTB-LC balances excellently with lighter rods of 2.75lbs or 3lbs, recommended for fishing from a boat or shore where the recommended casting distance is up to 120m. The Big Baitrunner CI4+ 14000 XTB-LC balances excellently with heavier rods of 3.5lbs or 3.75lbs, recommended for planted or shore fishing where the recommended casting distance exceeds 150m.

NOTE: The Medium Baitrunner 5500 XTB-LC reel comes packaged with two pairs of spool reducers for 3500 + two pairs for 4500. These reducers are compatible with Shimano reel models: Ultegra CI4+ 5500 XSC/XTD, Medium Baitrunner LC 5500 XTB, Ultegra 5500 XSD/XTD.

NOTE: The Big Baitrunner 14000 XTB-LC reel comes packaged with two pairs of spool reducers for 3500 + one pair for 10000. These reducers are compatible with Shimano reel models: Speedcast 14000 XSC/XTC, Big Baitrunner LC 14000 XTB, Ultegra 14000 XSD/XTD.
