Salmo Rattlin' Slider Sinking Lure, Red Wake, 11cm, 47g

Salmo Rattlin' Slider Sinking Lure, Red Wake, 11cm, 47g

The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago and has since become legendary among predator anglers. It’s no surprise that this lure has helped anglers—from beginners to tournament competitors—set countless personal bests. The Salmo Rattlin' Slider has the same proven action as the Slider, but this model features a special internal chamber with rattling metal beads that produce low-frequency vibrations. Its streamlined shape also makes it easier to cast long distances.

This lure is easy to retrieve, and any retrieve technique can be effective. Its action mimics an injured baitfish. The colder the water, the longer the pause after each movement should be—up to 3 seconds. The Slider is usually fished with a series of regular, sharp, aggressive rod twitches while retrieving quickly. Before fishing with this lure, it’s a good idea to make a few casts in clear water to observe its action and help refine your technique.
