The Element XD BF (Bite & Fight) is a Big Pit reel, specially designed for anglers looking to achieve extreme casting distances. Everything has been optimized for this purpose by Prologic specialists: the reel body made of composite graphite plated with ABS 1K carbon, the long cast spool made from forged aluminum, and even the ultra-slow oscillation system DLM (Dynamic Line Management) that allows for uniform line distribution. The round HIP line clip provides extra line protection and is genuinely useful when the fishing spot needs to be reached with precision.

Prologic experts also employed BR-S (Braid Ready Spool) technology to create a spool with maximum grip, whether you choose to use monofilament or braided line. The grooves on the spool ensure excellent line adhesion, making it impossible for the line to slip and cause issues during the fight with big fish. Additionally, the spool features an Aero Lip design which helps achieve considerable distances by reducing friction between the line and the spool lip. The FCS 2 (Friction Control System) brake system, composed of three carbon washers, offers unmatched stiffness, significant braking power, and high operational speed. The Element XD BF version also benefits from special protection against water and moisture (HS-Drag), which can affect the front drag system. Another appreciated feature is the CNC-machined handle and carbon knob, reducing the overall weight. At the bottom of the reel, the manufacturer integrated the Bait & Fight system, allowing instant switching from "free spool" mode to the chosen configuration via the main drag system.
