The Tomcat is a reel specially designed for saltwater fishing, but due to its considerable drag strength and high-quality materials, it is also suitable for freshwater fishing targeting large fish such as catfish. The reel is built around a robust corrosion-resistant graphite body, with internal mechanisms driven by 7 (6+1) sealed bearings that ensure smoothness without tiring the arm during repeated casts.

The deep CNC-machined spool made from a single piece of anodized aluminum is equipped with a round metal line clip for securing the line. The "Even Flow Roller System" technology reduces line twist by allowing the roller to spin freely without friction, thus preventing line breakage. The Quick-Set Anti-Reverse one-way bearing, computer-balanced rotor system (Rotor Equalizing System), and Cyclonic Flow Rotor design increase airflow through the rotor, minimizing water intrusion and consequently corrosion of internal parts. The Rotor Equalizing System provides a precise balance that eliminates all reel vibrations for perfect alignment and smooth operation.

The Precision Elliptical Gearing System creates less friction during long-distance casts, greater accuracy, a longer gear lifespan, and more uniform pulling pressures. The multi-disc front drag (oil-impregnated felt washers + metal discs) operates with high precision. The metal handle is equipped with an extremely comfortable TPE knob. This "Ergo Grip" designed knob is specially crafted to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.
