The Custom Black Spin is the newest and most anticipated reel model from Okuma's lineup. The reel features 8 bearings (7BB+1RB) and a corrosion-resistant graphite body. It is equipped with a precision elliptical gear system and a Cyclonic Flow rotor design, which reduces friction during casting, resulting in greater distance and accuracy as well as extended durability. The front multi-disc drag (felt discs impregnated made in Japan) is very precise, featuring a dirt-resistant protection system.

The mechanically processed steel pinion stands up well during fights with strong fish, with no risk of bending or breaking. The reel comes with an aluminum "Shallow" spool ideal for long-distance casting and a spare standard graphite spool. The metal spool clip, Quick Set Infinit AntiReverse system, RESII (computer-balanced rotor), Even Flow bearing roller, and sturdy metal handle with EVA knob complete the reel’s features.
