Okuma Avenger Reel

The manufacturer Okuma is currently one of the most important producers of high-performance reels, with a tradition and innovation capacity that have earned it worldwide renown. The reel body is made of corrosion-resistant graphite, giving it a low weight. To minimize the overall weight of the reel and manufacturing the Rotor Equalizing System rotor, graphite was used. The reel is equipped with 7 (6BB+1RB) bearings, a mechanically processed bronze pinion, and a Quick-Set Anti-Reverse system.

The Precision Elliptical Gearing system generates lower friction during casts for increased casting distance, improved accuracy, longer line life, as well as smooth operation and consistent drag force. The spool has a generous line capacity and allows for long-distance casting due to its widened design. The back of the reel has a beveled profile, which facilitates comfortable fishing and increases the casting distance of lures.

The drag is located at the front and protects the felt discs from moisture or dirt. The reel roller features an Even Flow Roller System (reduces line twist by allowing it to freely unwind on the roller without friction). To eliminate vibrations, Okuma engineers developed the Rotor Equalizing System for smooth operation. The handle is equipped with a rubberized knob and can be folded both during storage and transport.
