Blackpool Tapered Heavy Shock Leaders is a tapered diameter leader line, fast-sinking in the water column, designed to absorb the shock from casting when using very heavy leads or feeder cages. The line gradually gets thicker as you reel it onto the spool. The taper allows you to use a thick and strong leader. Since the leader becomes progressively thinner, the knot where it joins the main line will be very discreet.

The line features low memory and elasticity, abrasion resistance, and invisibility in the water column due to its clear finish. It is available in 5 diameter variants: 0.160mm-0.225mm, 0.180mm-0.255mm, 0.225mm-0.55mm, 0.255mm-0.56mm, and 0.30mm-0.57mm. Each roll contains 5 sections of line, each 15m long (can be cut to suit your needs).
