With improvements over the previous NTX-R range, Fox RX+ Micron is at the top of its class when it comes to sensitivity in bite notification. The alarm features a multitude of characteristics, including a sealed casing that protects against weather and mechanical shocks, multi-color LED lights with four colors, and an ergonomic volume control with eight different levels.

Building on the NTX-R system features, the Micron RX+ benefits from a deeper sound without an actual pitch increase, manual day and night mode selection, and a wider performance range when used with the RX receiver.

Fox Micron RX+™ Alarm:

The RX+ Micron alarm is equipped with twin multi-color LEDs available in 6 colors: red, green, blue, orange, violet, and white. The LED color can be changed using the left button on the back of the housing, and the LED’s adjustable brightness can be altered via the button on the back of the case. There is a two-mode toggle switch – day mode and night mode. In night mode, both LEDs will glow softly in the chosen color.

With ergonomic indexed control, Micron RX+ offers eight volume settings, the lowest being completely silent. The indexed ergonomic control also applies to tone, with eight different tone volume settings.

The alarm also features a D-TEC Plus detection system, a dyno-wheel spool, and an economical indexed control for smart sensitivity with see-saw elimination. There are eight different sensitivity settings for a wider sensitivity range, and the alarm is three times more sensitive than the NTX-R.

Low battery warning shows the batteries at a minimum level when the LEDs turn cyan, and deeper ears keep your rod firmly in position. Supplied with two compression washer options – rigid and soft – and more space around the spool, which improves drainage. This greatly reduces the chances of the spool freezing in extreme cold. The range test function, activated by switching the alarm off and on within a second, allows the user to check if the RX+ receiver is picking up the RX+ alarm head.

RX Receiver:

The unit delivers stronger radio performance with ultra-long range coverage. It has a standalone design and on/off volume control, with the lowest volume setting being completely silent. Larger LEDs are visible from both the front and the top of the receiver, and the easy RX+ Micron pairing allows connection of up to eight alarms on one unit.

The “bivvy” light feature only activates if three beep signals are received in rapid succession. The station’s LEDs match the alarm LEDs using color synchronization.

The receiver features a battery life indicator. When on, four green LEDs indicate full charge; three green LEDs indicate batteries are in use but replacement is not necessary; two orange LEDs indicate low battery. A red LED signals that batteries are drained and need replacing. Other handy features include vibration alert and an anti-theft alarm. The Micron RX+ alarm – from dark to light.

“Bivvy” Functions:

• When the “Bivvy” light feature is activated via the rear switch, it will behave as follows:
• Indicator lights will dim slightly to reduce glare while the “Bivvy” light is active;
• The “Bivvy” light will only activate if three bite triggers are received in rapid succession, preventing false bites;
• The “Bivvy” light will dim to full brightness and remain on while the alarm continues to send trigger signals. The light will fade out to off within 5 seconds after trigger signals stop, provided no further signals are received.
