FOX Micron RX+® Bite Alarm

A luxury range FOX bite alarm, made from high-quality materials, around a sealed waterproof casing. It features the D-Tec™ Plus (DTSS) bite detection system, a CNC-machined Tru-Run™ spool system, a quality speaker, ergonomic volume control, ergonomic tone control, and ergonomic Intelligent Sensitivity control assisted by the See-Saw system.

• Low battery warning (LED colour changes to cyan indicating it's time to replace batteries);
• Power output (2.5mm) for use with illuminated swingers and/or hangers;
• Supplied with two screw-in washer options: rigid and soft, plus an additional soft washer on the unit;
• Operates with two AA batteries.

Improved Features Compared to NTX-R:

• Deeper ears without increasing the height of the alarms;
• Twin multi-colour LEDs, one on each ear, positioned at the top of the ears;
• External multi-colour LED control with Colour Sync™ function - simply change the LED colour via the button on the battery compartment cover;
• Manually selectable day and night modes;
• External control of the Vari-Bright function - set the LED brightness level to suit your fishing conditions (choose from 3 different brightness levels in day mode, and 3 different brightness levels in night mode); brightness can be easily adjusted using the button on the battery compartment cover;
• Greater clearance around the spool and improved drainage greatly reduce the chances of the mechanism freezing in extreme cold conditions;
• Better performance at longer distances with the RX+ receiver;
• Improved sensitivity range.

Sensitivity Control

In all sensitivity settings (except the maximum level), the line must move the specified distance, in the same direction, and for 2 seconds to trigger the unit. Any movement in the opposite direction will reset the distance counter to zero. This can significantly reduce or eliminate false triggers caused by wind and water movement, the so-called "false bites".
