With improvements over the previous NTX-R range, the Fox RX+ Micron is at the top of its class when it comes to bite detection sensitivity. The alarm comes with a multitude of features, including a waterproof housing that protects against weather and mechanical shocks, multi-color LED lights in four colors, and an ergonomic volume control with eight different levels.

Building on the features of the NTX-R system, the Micron RX+ alarm benefits from a deeper sound without an actual pitch increase, manual day and night mode selection, and a wider performance range when used with the RX receiver.

Fox Micron RX+™ Alarm:

The RX+ Micron alarm unit is equipped with twin multicolor LEDs available in 6 colors: red, green, blue, orange, purple, and white. The LED color can be changed using the left button on the back of the alarm, and the adjustable LED brightness can be changed with the back button as well. There is a two-mode switch - day mode and night mode. In night mode, both LEDs will glow softly in the chosen color.

With indexed ergonomic control, the Micron RX+ alarm offers eight volume settings, the lowest being completely silent. The indexed ergonomic control also works for tone with eight different volume settings.

The alarm also features a D-TEC Plus detection system, a Tru-Run™ CNC-machined line roller, and an economical indexed control for smart sensitivity with see-saw elimination. There are eight different sensitivity settings for a wider sensitivity range, and the alarm is three times more sensitive than the NTX-R.

Low battery warning shows that batteries are at a minimum level when the LEDs turn cyan, and deeper ears hold your rod securely in place. Supplied with two compression washer options - rigid and soft with a larger cushion surrounding the roller, improving line flow. This greatly reduces the chances of the roller freezing in extreme cold conditions. The range test function, activated by switching the alarm off and on within one second, allows the user to check if the RX receiver is receiving the RX+ alarm head.

RX Receiver:

The receiver has stronger radio performance with ultra-long coverage range. It features a standalone design and an on/off volume control, with the lowest volume setting being completely silent. Larger LED windows are visible from both the front and top of the receiver, and easy RX+ Micron registration allows you to pair up to eight alarms to a single receiver.

The "bivvy" light function will only activate if three beep signals are received in quick succession. The receiver LEDs match the alarm head LEDs by color-syncing.

The receiver also offers battery life indicators. When switched on, four green LEDs indicate full charge. Three green LEDs indicate batteries are in use but do not need replacement, and two orange LEDs show the batteries are low. A red LED will indicate the batteries are depleted and need replacing. Other useful features include vibration alert and an anti-theft alarm. The Micron RX+ alarm – from dark to light.

"Bivvy" Functions:

• When the "Bivvy" light feature is activated via the rear switch, it behaves as follows:
• Indicator lights are dimmed softly to avoid excessive light while the "Bivvy" light is active;
• The "Bivvy" light will only activate if three "bite" triggers are received in quick succession to prevent false alarms;
• The "Bivvy" light will brighten fully and remain illuminated while the alarm continues to send trigger signals. The light will fade to off within 5 seconds after trigger signals stop, provided no further alerts are received.
