An electronic bite alarm set with included receiver offered by the manufacturer Fox. The Micron MX features a sealed, weather-resistant case along with high-quality digital circuitry. It is also equipped with Fox's unique D-Tec Sensing System and the classic Tru-Run roller with enhanced sensitivity, signaling any bite no matter how subtle.

You will find a power socket on the back of the alarm, allowing connection of a luminous swinger. The alarm also includes a low battery alert (requires two AAA batteries) and volume adjustable via potentiometer. Thanks to I-Com Transmitter Technology, the MX comes with its own dedicated receiver, weather-protected, featuring high-quality digital circuits.

The On/Off button of the alarms has a dual role: power on/off and sensitivity adjustment (two levels). Sensitivity is factory set to level 1. The volume roller (marked with "V") has 7 adjustment levels, while the tone roller (marked with "T") also has 7 adjustment levels. The LED color of the alarms can be changed by pressing a rubber button located on the back of the case (next to the socket for connecting swingers).

Additionally, the receiver alerts when the battery is low (operates with 3 x AA batteries). The MX receiver is very easy to synchronize with the alarms and during tests it received their signals from significant distances. When batteries run low, the multicolor LEDs of the alarms will automatically switch to cyan (green-blue). They will stay lit in this color until you replace the batteries with new ones. Once new batteries are inserted, the LED color will automatically return to the last chosen color. The alarms do not emit an audible low battery warning.

NOTE: According to official information provided by Fox, the Micron MX receiver has an effective range of approximately 400m under optimal conditions (without obstacles or other interference). Both alarms and receiver are sold in a plastic case lined inside with foam material, which provides protection against mechanical shocks during transport.
