The sliding (inline) feeder with a flat base is the perfect combination of a classic feeder and modern manufacturing technologies. Without a doubt, the best method for fishing on the Danube or fast-flowing rivers is to use spiral feeders, as the bait disperses at a much slower rate. Adding a sufficiently heavy weight to secure the rig on the substrate results in the perfect feeder.

The flat base feeder will always position itself correctly on the substrate, resist deformation effectively, and, being bulkier than standard versions, can hold a significant amount of bait. The hook bait can be hidden in the bait or left exposed, but the leader should never be longer than 20cm. The best results are obtained with leaders of 8-15cm, depending on the bait used.
