CHIRP+ 2.0 (Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse) is a wireless sonar initially developed by the US Navy, which sends a continuous stream of frequencies ranging from low to high. Because of this, the sonar readings are much clearer and have a higher resolution compared to traditional sonars. The three beam frequencies, exceptional clarity, and precision make it ideal for quickly locating schools of fish and correcting the angle for extreme depths. Paired with innovative software, the Fish Deeper™ app and CHIRP+ 2.0 web platform provide you with a strategic advantage for effective, quick, and precise fishing.

On your phone/tablet screen, you can see fish, vegetation, substrate structure, contour, hardness, and consistency. The Fish Deeper™ app includes water temperature and depth, various color palettes for visualization, optional icons, and sonar sensitivity adjustments. Discover feeding spots faster with a wide-angle beam or locate target species through thick ice with a narrow 7° beam.

With CHIRP+ 2.0, surface clutter and noise are minimal, allowing for accurate sonar readings in very shallow water and locating fish approximately 15cm from the water's surface. At the other extreme, you can distinguish target fish in water up to 100m deep. With a target separation of 1cm, you will be able to easily identify target species even when they are in a school of prey fish. Track even the smallest lure accurately when vertical jigging.

Thanks to its compact size, it fits in a box or even in your pocket. It is compatible with iOS and Android devices. It can be used for fishing from boats, kayaks, the shore, and even ice fishing. Bathymetric maps can be created, allowing you to access all scans, maps, points of interest, photos, and notes from the Fish Deeper™ app and web platform.

The sonar casing is made of ABS plastic (sand color) with titanium inserts, making it highly resistant to the corrosive action of water as well as accidental mechanical shocks. The silicone seal perfectly protects the sonar, allowing it to be handled in inclement weather conditions at temperatures down to -20°C. The sonar features a GPS mode, a Wi-Fi connection of up to 120m, and a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that charges 100% in just 120 minutes. It generates its own Wi-Fi signal to connect to any smart device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), with no need for internet or cellular data. The maximum operating time is 16 hours.

NOTE: The sonar is delivered with a USB cable, two mounting screws, an additional casing (fluorescent orange) for night fishing, a neoprene protective cover, and a user manual.
