The Crosscast 35SCW 5000LD QD is a long cast spool reel (35mm deep) specially designed for carp fishing. The Digigear II system ensures powerful retrieval transmission and provides optimal performance. The solid stainless steel shaft offers durability under the toughest operating conditions, while the 4.9:1 gear ratio delivers tremendous retrieval power.

The Slow Cross Wrap™ line lay system allows crosswise line distribution and significantly reduces friction, enabling long casting distances. The HIP clip on the spool protects the line and facilitates precise, repeatable casts at the baiting spot. Thanks to the QD (Quick Drag) system with carbon discs, the front drag can be switched from tight to free spool with a single full turn of the knob.

Slow Cross Wrap® - is a special cross-pattern line lay technology on the spool. This technology significantly reduces tangles around the shaft. Additionally, the unique winding means more line coils are taken onto the spool, translating into extreme casting distances.

Air Rotor® - the curved rotor (15% lighter than most standard models) offers perfect line lay on the spool and eliminates vibrations thanks to its lowered center of gravity.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally engineered gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion built inside the spool housing transmits crank power directly to the rotor smoothly and very efficiently. The size of the main gear, its durability and gear angles, the shape and surface of the gear teeth allow the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long service life.

Twist Buster® II - a sophisticated system (patent no. EP0876760B1) that minimizes line twist. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the line roller, preventing line breakage.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows the rotor to rotate in only one direction. Only highest quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here.
