The Daiwa 23 Ninja LT is a significantly improved reel compared to the previous model, characterized by flawless and smooth operation, specially designed for feeder, match, and even bolognese anglers. With its innovative features, it sets new standards in fishing technology. The reel features a DS4 polycarbonate body, and the Airdrive rotor significantly reduces weight at the front of the reel. This leads to better balance and increased sensitivity during fishing.

The Tough DigiGear system features a digitally developed gear set to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion integrated into the spool housing transmits the handle power directly to the rotor smoothly and very efficiently. The size of the drive gear, durability, gear angles, shape, and surface of the gear teeth allow for the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long lifespan.

The braking system excels with much smoother transitions between braking intervals, making it perfectly suitable for use with braided lines. With ATD, braking starts immediately, right from the beginning, and the transition to the preset braking force happens in a fraction of a second, thus preventing line breakage under shock. The longcast ABS aluminum spool has an optimized release edge, minimizing friction and ensuring impressive casting distance.

The Twist Buster III system reduces line twisting to a minimum and significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing line breakage. The CNC machined aluminum handle is equipped with a soft rubber knob that feels pleasant to the touch even with wet fingers.
