The Q5 alarm features classic buttons for volume adjustment (the "V" button), tone (the "T" button), and sensitivity (the "S" button). Volume, tone, and sensitivity each have independent adjustment levels. Thanks to the universal thread, alarms can be attached to any type of rod pod, tripod, buzz bar, or spike.

The alarm includes a function that signals a "run" bite (fish takes the line) as well as a "drop" bite (fish approaches the rod). It also features a low battery alarm, anti-theft alarm, night light, a Jack socket for powering illuminated swingers, and snag ears (detachable stabilizing ears that can be mounted in case of strong wind).

The alarm housing is made of shock-resistant ABS and offers protection against water ingress. The alarm operates with a 9V battery, which can provide long-lasting use (up to 100 hours). After finishing your fishing session, it is recommended to remove the batteries and transport them separately.
