The Carp Expert Compact cradle mat offers a no-compromise solution for fish protection, thanks to the high-quality non-toxic materials it’s made of. Being very spacious, this cradle mat features a lightweight yet sturdy aluminum frame with a scissor-type open/close system. The 4 legs, 25mm in diameter, have anti-mud feet that can be positioned on any type of ground (supporting weights up to 50kg).

The mat is made from padded polyester that keeps the fish safe until the camera is ready. The hydrophobic material does not harm the fish’s skin, does not retain unpleasant odors, and is very easy to clean. Additionally, the mat’s fabric does not tear, does not fade over time, and hooks are less likely to catch in the material. On both ends, the mesh features fine perforations that allow water to drain.

The legs of the mat are height adjustable, so it can be set up even on uneven terrain. The 50cm height can be increased by an additional 5cm using the adjustable legs. This height is sufficient nowadays for working with the fish either in a squatting or kneeling position. The wide legs can be adjusted according to the slope of the ground, providing stability on both gravel and muddy surfaces.
