Few Romanian anglers have not heard of Zsolt Benzar, the multiple national champion in stillwater fishing, with an impressive track record: gold medals and individual national champion titles in 2003 and 2005, bronze medal and national vice-champion title in 2003, bronze medal in 1997, as well as gold medals and national team champion titles (Energofish) in 2005 and 2006, and a silver medal in 2004.

Zsolt also holds the national record for the quantity of fish caught in a 3-hour session during the Profi-Mix Cup in 2003, with 31.600 kg of roach.

Since 2007, Zsolt has decided to reveal part of his secrets by launching a complete range of groundbaits, covering all species of peaceful fish that can be caught in Romania.

Benzar Mix Groundbait is produced according to the recipes and under the strict supervision of Zsolt. His experience of over 20 years in both national and international competitions was the foundation of this series of 30 groundbaits. What is most important is that the entire range is specially designed for the waters (and fish, of course) in Romania. The groundbait already contains additives and attractants specific to the fish species indicated on the packaging.

Benzar Mix Groundbait - Grass Carp-Carp

A special groundbait for tench fishing, a type of carp known in our country also as grass carp. Tench fishing is one of the most spectacular, known for the fact that this species is extremely combative, especially close to the shore.
Not only is the technique distinctive, but so is the groundbait used to lure this fish.

The multiple national stillwater fishing champion, Benzar Zsolt, developed this groundbait following numerous tests on various lakes in our country. Based on extracts from reed buds and alfalfa seeds (the most known groundbait for grass carp), Benzar Mix Grass Carp-Carp is a groundbait that stays longer on the bottom and has incredible attraction power.
Because grass carp mainly feed in areas with abundant vegetation, the groundbait does not create a large cloud but is easily detectable by its smell.

Benzar Mix Groundbait - Fishmeal

An exceptional groundbait designed by an absolute champion.
Its high protein content makes this groundbait very nutritious. Fishmeal is used in aquaculture, and this groundbait contains 20% fishmeal.

Benzar Mix Groundbait - Scobar

No matter the season, a well-balanced groundbait containing a significant amount of coriander and hemp seeds does not go unnoticed by scobar shoals. Adding 200 grams of maggots per kilogram of groundbait increases its effectiveness even more.
