YGK X-Braid Upgrade X8 is a braided line made by weaving eight PE fibers, offering excellent knot strength and abrasion resistance. The production of this braided line incorporates three patented technologies from YGK: ultra-tight cross-weave technology (WX type), HST treatment processing, and GP-X silicone coating. The line consists of four polyethylene cores with a specific density of 0.98 (g/cm3). All these features result in an almost perfectly round cross-section, smoothness, and a significant strength margin.

It is also very sensitive, allowing for quick hook setups and precise bite detection. On the other hand, the line withstands strong pulls from powerful fish that put up intense resistance. The X-Braid Upgrade series in the X8 version is a versatile line, great for jigging but also suitable for all types of fishing. Ideal for both saltwater and freshwater fishing. X-Braid Upgrade X8 comes in a single light green color, making it visible even in low light conditions.
