Kuusamo is the largest manufacturer of metal lures in Finland, known worldwide among anglers especially for the Professor and Rasanen models. Kuusamo was born from the dream of two friends who were passionate anglers from a young age; the only thing missing from their arsenal was metal lures, so they decided to produce their own fishing gear. Kuusamo spinning spoons are made from a metal alloy that provides increased resistance to mechanical stress, equipped with very sharp hooks and high-quality stainless steel rings. Professional anglers' advice for all Rasanen lure fans: try an irregular retrieval. Start retrieving slowly, then pause after a short time. Next, continue the retrieval a bit faster and stop the lure again after five or six turns of the reel handle. After the pause, return to slow retrieval. The spoon will create a "zigzag" action that attracts pike, and surprisingly often, the fish strike immediately when the retrieval stops.
