The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago, becoming legendary among predatory fish anglers. It's no surprise this lure has set numerous personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitors). The launch of the Slider lures marked a new level of quality in the world of artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy, with any retrieval technique being effective; the lure's movement mimics that of an injured baitfish. The colder the water, the longer each pause should be (up to 3 seconds).

Recommended for fishing pike, zander, perch, and catfish. Typically, the Slider is fished with a series of rapid, aggressive rod jerks while maintaining a fast retrieval. Before using this lure, it’s advisable to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its action and improve your retrieval technique. The Slider is also effective for trolling, trailing behind the boat between 10m and 30m and jerking it as you would when casting, every few seconds.

NOTE: Floating versions are highly recommended in the warm season when vegetation is abundant and the water column is limited, while sinking models are better suited for areas with less vegetation or deeper water.
