The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago, becoming legendary among predator anglers. It's no surprise that this lure has set numerous personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitors). The Salmo Rattlin' Slider features the same renowned action as the Slider lure, but this model has been enhanced internally with a special chamber containing rattling metal beads, designed to produce low-frequency vibrations, while the aerodynamic shape further facilitates casting to considerable distances.

Casting Slider lures marked a new level of quality in the world of artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy, any retrieval technique is effective, and the lure's movement mimics that of an injured prey fish. The colder the water, the longer each movement should be accompanied by a pause—sometimes up to 3 seconds.

It is recommended for pike fishing. Typically, the Slider is fished with a regular series of rod jerks (sharp and aggressive), combined with a fast retrieval. Before using this lure, it is advisable to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its action (to improve your technique when using the lure).
