Rapala DT Dives-To 12 is a floating crankbait designed to descend quickly to its working depth and remain in the strike zone as long as possible. The DT12 model reaches a running depth of approximately 3.6m, making it suitable for targeted exploration of deeper water layers.

The body is crafted from carefully selected balsa wood, and the internal weight distribution, tapered profile and slim tail contribute to the pronounced side-to-side action characteristic of the DT series. The slim polycarbonate bill helps the lure dive rapidly, and the Quick-Dive resting position, with the nose tilted downward, promotes quick attainment of running depth once retrieval begins.

The internal chamber with the Baritone Rattle system generates additional vibration and sound signals during the lure's run. The lure is fitted with two VMC Black Nickel treble hooks size 4 and is hand-tuned and water-tested for correct action.
