The Westin Swim Hollowbody is an atypical hybrid surface (topwater) lure made from soft rubber, designed for fishing on the water surface film, especially for pike. It results from the combination of a classic minnow and a topwater lure that can be fished simply using the "walked-side-to-side" technique or aggressively with "jerking" motions in short 1-2 second intervals, delivering maximum efficiency at any retrieve speed. Thanks to its finish and hand-applied colors, the lure is easily noticed by predators even in the lowest light conditions.

The lure is equipped with a double wide gape carbon steel hook, and along the entire body inside, the connection between the swivel ring and the double hook is made from a very strong stainless steel wire. The Swim Hollowbody features a hand-built plug on the belly aligned with the double hook shaft, which prevents water from entering inside, thus avoiding added weight and sinking during retrieves. The lure should not be cast with force; the water contact acts as an attack trigger, even at the end of the cast. When the lure is attacked, the hook set should not be firm; it is recommended to wait and ease the tension.
