Westin Freddy the Frog is a surface lure (topwater) made from hard plastic (ABS), designed for fishing in the water column, particularly for pike. The lure can be fished simply, resembling a frog traversing a lake "walked-side-to-side", or in a more aggressive "jerking" manner in short intervals of 1-2 seconds for maximum performance at any retrieve speed.

Thanks to the glossy finish of the eyes and the hand-applied colors, the frog can be easily spotted by predators, even in the lowest light conditions. It features a fully articulated body, equipped with a hook on the back and a belly treble made from Japanese carbon steel, designed to minimize the chances of losing the fish during the fight. Additionally, Freddy the Frog comes equipped with a short polycarbonate lip that creates turbulence during retrieves.

At the front of the frog, there's an internal chamber with "rattling" glass beads that disperse strong vibrations in the water to attract even the most lethargic predators.

TIP: The frog should not be cast with force, as contact with the water serves as a trigger for attacks, right at the end of the cast. When a strike occurs, the hookset should not be hard; rather, it is recommended to wait 1-2 seconds and loosen tension for a proper hookset.
