The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof overalls available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Challenger Bib Insulated is overalls that provide not only waterproofing but also the warmth needed during the cold season. Durable GORE-TEX fabrics and PrimaLoft insulation deliver top performance on the water, keeping the wearer dry and warm across a wide range of challenging fishing conditions. Other key features include fully taped seams, waterproof YKK® zippers, adjustable suspenders, and a hem. The stretch elastic suspenders allow all-day comfort and a perfect fit.

• Seat, knees, and lower back of the leg - two layers of GORE-TEX with Gore Performance technology - 90D 100% nylon with DWR;
• Body, calves, and front of lower leg - GORE-TEX with Gore Performance technology - 80D 100% nylon with DWR;
• Insulation - PrimaLoft Silver High Loft 80g in waist and seat / 60g chest and legs;
• Lining - 47 g/m2, 100% recycled polyester taffeta with DWR.
