The Simms company was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Challenger Bib Insulated is an overall that provides not only waterproofing but also the warmth needed during the cold season. Whether you fish monthly or daily, the Challenger Bib Insulated can become indispensable during very cold trips. Legendary Simms durability meets Toray® two-layer construction for comfort and waterproofing. Other important features include fully taped seams, water-resistant YKK® zippers, adjustable suspenders, and hem. Features like the QuadraLam™ fabric showcased in Wader Freestone® is a durable fabric with a microporous waterproof layer, and the Storm Flap flap pocket keeps tools dry and within reach. Unlike the Simms Challenger Bib version, this one is recommended for very cold weather.
