Walter Uszok Metal Lake Float

The Uszok Metal Lake is a fixed float with a droplet-shaped float made from polyurethane, and a metal keel (rod). The fixed plastic antenna is painted in fluorescent colors (red or green), giving it enhanced visibility at night. The keel is attached to the main line using silicone/plastic varnishes (the longer the rod, the more guiding varnishes will be used).

Attached to the body of the float is a metal guiding ring (right at the base of the antenna) that allows for the line to be secured and slid. This float has a sharp body towards the antenna, making it recommended for fishing situations where fish are finicky, as the bites can be very subtle. As a highly sensitive float, it is ideal for use in calm waters or currents with small to medium-sized fish.

TIP: Floats with a metal rod have increased stability, especially when the line's weight is evenly distributed. They are perfect if you want to determine if fish are present at depths other than the maximum set. During the descent of the hook through the water column, any bite is signaled by the float even if it is not in a vertical position.
