The G4Z Stockingfoot Slate is considered the best waterproof bib in the Simms lineup, a result of 16,000 hours of field testing. The bib is built with GORE-TEX® Pro Shell featuring 3 upper layers and 4 lower layers for enhanced durability. The boots are compression-molded for increased comfort and improved fit. For waterproofing around the main zipper, the manufacturer chose a water-resistant YKK zipper that is easy to use. On the chest, there are 4 zippered pockets: 2 centrally located for storing accessories and 2 positioned laterally, lined inside with microfleece to warm your hands. The bib secures with two adjustable straps and an elastic belt around the waist.
