The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago and has become legendary among predator anglers. It's no surprise that this lure has broken numerous personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitors). The launch of the Slider lures marked a new level of quality in the world of artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy; any retrieval technique is effective, and the lure's movement mimics that of an injured prey fish. The colder the water, the longer the pauses should be between movements (up to 3 seconds).

Recommended for fishing pike, zander, perch, and catfish. Typically, the Slider is fished with a series of sharp, aggressive rod jerks, combined with a fast retrieve. Before using this lure, it’s recommended to cast it several times in clear water to observe its action and refine your technique. The Slider is effective for trolling, left behind the boat at distances between 10m and 30m, jerking it as you would when casting, every few seconds.

NOTE: Floating models are highly recommended during the warm season when vegetation is abundant and the water column is very shallow, while the sinking models are better suited for areas with less vegetation or deeper water.
