The Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago, quickly becoming legendary among predator anglers. It's no surprise that this lure has set numerous personal records for anglers (both beginners and competitors). The launch of the Slider lures marked a new level of quality in the world of artificial baits. The recovery of this lure is very easy—any retrieval technique works effectively, with the lure's movement mimicking that of an injured baitfish. The colder the water, the more each movement should be followed by a relatively long pause (up to 3 seconds).

Recommended for fishing pike, zander, perch, and catfish. Usually, the Slider is retrieved with a series of regular, sharp, and aggressive jerks of the rod, while maintaining a fast retrieval speed. Before using this lure in the field, it's advisable to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its action and refine your retrieval technique. The Slider is also effective for trolling, letting it trail behind the boat at distances between 10m and 30m, jerking it as you would when casting, every few seconds.

NOTE: Floating variants are highly recommended during warm seasons when vegetation is dense and the available water column is limited, while sinking models are better suited for areas with less vegetation or deeper water.
