The DUO Realis Jerkbait is one of the best suspending lures for pike worldwide. Its effectiveness comes from the flank movements and the volume of water displaced, both of which are irresistible to pike. It responds excellently to rod tip action (twitching or jerking), but if these techniques are considered too complicated, it can simply be retrieved through the water.

It does not require a high retrieval speed, performing well even at slow speeds. It is weighted at the front with a fixed tungsten weight that allows the body to use this area as a pivot point, creating the side-to-side wobble of the flanks and a gliding effect.
