DUO Realis Jerkbait 100DR Lure, CCC3119 Phantom Shad, 10cm, 15.6g

The DUO Realis Jerkbait 100DR is one of the best suspending jerkbaits. Its effectiveness comes from the flank movement and volume of water displaced, both of which are irresistible attractions for pike. It responds excellently to twitching or jerking motions from the tip of the rod, but if you find these techniques too complicated, just retrieve it steadily through the water. It doesn’t require a fast retrieve speed and performs well even at slow speeds.

It easily reaches depths of up to 3m without needing a high retrieve speed or special tension. The lure’s body is reinforced internally with an additional frame to withstand violent strikes from fish that dominate deeper waters. The magnet-assisted weight system allows for long casts without affecting the lure’s complex balance. Special attention was given to the rattling sounds produced by the balls inside during retrieval, based on the idea that at greater depths visibility is low and fish are more stimulated by sounds and vibrations than by visual cues.
