Korda Shot On The Hook is an innovative accessory for wafter rigs, bottom baits, or snowman setups, designed to significantly enhance hooking efficiency. This miniature pure tungsten weight creates an extra point of mass directly on the hook, helping the tip to turn and hook quickly, turning more bites into real hook holds.

Thanks to the very high density of pure tungsten, Shot On The Hook provides the necessary weight in an extremely compact form, using a minimal amount of material. Each weight is equipped with a small rubber sleeve that fits on the hook point, keeping the shot perfectly in place. The accessory is reusable: it can be easily removed on barbless hooks, while on barbed hooks it’s recommended to pinch the barb before removal.

The product became extremely popular after appearing in the Korda Underwater series filmed at Norton Disney, generating massive interest and a strong comeback for rigs with shot on the hook. Danny Fairbrass himself considers it one of the most effective accessories for bottom bait rigs in recent years.

Shot On The Hook is available in three weight options – 0.30g, 0.40g, and 0.50g – each set delivered in a compact box with a sliding lid, containing 10 pieces.

Usage Recommendations (DF’s Insight):

• 0.30g – for hooks size 8, 6, 4 and baits up to 14mm;
• 0.40g – for baits 16–18mm and hooks size 6, 4, 2;
• 0.50g – for large hooks and baits 20–24mm.
